Born in Taipei, Ariel grew up in the centre of an artistic family, with both her parents being professional modern dancers. The excitement of backstage life grew into a fascination with beauty for Ariel and has since evolved into her successful career as a make-up artist. After moving to New York at the age of 21, Ariel became first assistant to Mark Carrasquillo, working and traveling alongside her mentor and working with renowned photographers such as Steven Klein, Mert & Marcus & David Sims. Since moving to London, Ariel has developed a reputation as a highly-talented make-up artist for her luxe and unique work, collaborating with clients such as Joseph, Dyson, Tommy Hilfiger, Moncler and Jo Malone and on editorial titles such as i-D, Interview and Vogue.
