LONDON —

"I got into my profession out of passion. I've always loved doing my own nails but when I first started gel polish didn't exist yet. I had very colourful nails that I would change every week because nail varnish didn't allow long wear. I was always drawn to creating something new." Giulia was born in Cantù, near Lake Como in northern Italy, and took her first nail course at 18 — turning a lifelong fascination with colour and design into a profession. She moved to London eight years ago, following two years in Australia, to build her career in a bigger creative landscape. She trained by assisting a string of respected nail artists, including Julie Luong, Simone Cummings, Tyler Phoenix and Liia Zotova, before landing her first job on set for an Istituto Marangoni campaign with Vogue Italia. Since then, she has established herself as a lead artist at London Fashion Week, leading shows for Sabirah and Rafael Azevedo while continuing a season-after-season collaboration with Karina Bond, a partnership she says has given her the creative freedom to do her best work. Giulia's designs are avant-garde and richly textural, pulling from nature, Baroque and Art Nouveau detailing, and the Brutalist architecture she loves. Her recent work includes brand collaborations with Sony, Adidas, Reiss, Benefit Cosmetics and Puma, as well as editorial projects for King Kong and Common Language Magazine. Her work has been recognised with a GP Best Nails win and a 2026 One Nail finalist placement, and shown at exhibitions across Paris and London.
